My Approach

I have an in-depth knowlege of sleep but you are the expert on your child. Using my extensive knowledge of sleep science and what is developmentally appropriate for your baby, we can work together to develop a tailored plan including practical tools and techniques focused on improving your little one’s sleep.

Individual

Children are unique and there is rarely only one reason why your little one won’t sleep. That is why I create bespoke sleep plans specific to each family which take into account your parenting style, your child’s temperament and your sleep goals.

Gentle

I always use gentle and holistic solutions which actively support your child and maintain strong parental attachment. I do not advocate ‘cry it out’ or controlled crying. I will help you solve your child’s sleep issues step-by-step, helping them become the best sleeper they can be.

Evidence-based

You’ve had advice from well-meaning friends and family, you've googled and read the sleep books. There are so many conflicting opinions, it’s hard to know who or what to believe. I will give you a clear plan to follow based on the latest evidence and research.

I am down to earth, friendly and will always offer a non-judgmental, sympathetic understanding of your situation. I will reliably support you through the whole process, listen to your problems, answer your questions and celebrate with you when things are going well.

Please don't struggle on your own

I understand that being a parent is hard work and looking after little ones is exhausting. Especially when you are not getting much sleep! I am here to listen to you and understand what YOUR sleep goals are. I have a holistic, evidence-based and family-focused approach, offering gentle and responsive strategies to improving sleep. 

Together, we will work out the reason your child isn’t sleeping well and decide on the best way to make a change. Looking at the whole picture, I will create a bespoke plan that suits your child’s temperament, your parenting values and your family’s situation. Every plan will give you all the tools to promote healthy sleep whilst building your child’s self-esteem, confidence, resilience and emotional well-being.

I never suggest any form of controlled crying and will always put the needs of your child first. Please be assured that I will not ask you to do anything that you are not comfortable with. We will work together and I will offer as much support as you need to put the plan into practice. At the heart of every plan is knowing what is biologically normal, healthy, age-appropriate and safe.
